Seven Arts Inks Six Picture Distribution Deal With Partner Icon Australia

HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwire - December 7, 2009) - Seven Arts Pictures plc (NASDAQ: SAPX) announced today the completion of a deal with Icon Film Distribution LTD ("Icon") to distribute six pictures in Australia and New Zealand.

Under the terms of the deal, Icon has agreed to distribute the Seven Arts Pictures titles "Nine Miles Down," "Autopsy," "Gettin' It," "Knife Edge," "Hades," and "Mirror Wars" in Australia and New Zealand. Release dates will be set and announced during this fiscal year 2010.

"Autopsy," starring Robert Patrick ("Terminator 2: Judgment Day," "Bridge to Terrabithia") and Jessica Lowndes ("The Haunting of Molly Hartley," "90210") was directed by Adam Gierasch, and produced by Seven Arts Pictures, from a script written by Gierasch, Jace Anderson and Evan Katz. "Gettin' It," starring Patrick Censoplano ("Fame"), "Knife Edge," starring Hugh Bonneville ("Notting Hill," "Asylum"), Natalie Press ("Fifty Dead Men Walking," "My Summer of Love"), and Matthieu Boujenah ("Fracassés," "Très bien, merci") was directed by Anthony Hickox and produced by Seven Arts Pictures from a script by Hickox, Robin Squire, and Fee Combe.
