ShopNBC Announces First-Ever "Beauty & Style Week" -- A Celebration of Real Beauty and Style for Real Women

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - October 22, 2009) - ShopNBC (NASDAQ: VVTV), the premium lifestyle brand in electronic retailing, today announced its first-ever Beauty & Style Week event, which kicks off Saturday, October 24 at 10 pm ET. Dedicated to celebrating real beauty and real style for real women -- just in time for holiday gatherings and gift giving -- the event will feature ShopNBC's largest number of beauty and fashion launches ever in one week. Beauty & Style Week Program Highlights

-- As part of the event, Dr. Robert Rey, known as TV's "Dr. 90210" and an in-demand cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon in Beverly Hills, will be introducing his new skincare line, Sensual Solutions, on ShopNBC. Through his products, Dr. Rey offers a non-invasive alternative to plastic surgery. Dr. Rey will be on air with ShopNBC host Melissa Miner this Sunday, October 25 at 1 pm and 5 pm ET.

-- Ted Gibson, who has earned a reputation as the hottest celebrity hairstylist, will debut his hair care line on ShopNBC Tuesday, October 27. Based on Wild Orchid extract as its key ingredient, his product line will be featured during self-titled show hours throughout the day.

-- Back by popular demand is Sensa Weight-Loss System. Following a strong reception by ShopNBC viewers at its launch in late August 2009, Sensa will appear this Sunday, October 25 during eight self-titled show hours to educate viewers on how to use their simple approach to weight loss. Developed by Dr. Alan Hirsch, the Sensa Weight-Loss System is based on more than 20 years of research. -- Beauty & Style Week is not only premiering new brands, but new shows. "Beauty Confidential" will make its debut on Tuesday, October 27 at 10 pm ET. Dedicated to bringing the absolute newest products which are truly buzzworthy, "Beauty Confidential" will feature nothing but beauty insiders themselves, like Ted Gibson, who will share their first hand knowledge with viewers.

-- America's favorite shoe expert -- Meghan Cleary -- will make her world-wide debut on ShopNBC this Wednesday, October 28. Created for the fashionista who seeks comfortable yet fabulous shoes that are durable and affordably priced, Miss Meghan will premiere her new collection exclusively at ShopNBC during "Beauty & Style Week Party" at 9 pm ET.

-- The internationally recognized brand Laundry by Shelli Segal will premiere on the network Thursday, October 29 at 11 pm ET, during shows titled after the line. Featuring must-have dresses, viewers will discover fun and flirty styles with a modern edge -- perfect for a variety of events from holiday gatherings to bridal showers.

-- The style program "Geneology Fashion DNA" will debut during a show titled after the line on Friday, October 30. Only at ShopNBC, this modern lifestyle apparel collection offers contemporary and casual looks with attitude that are ready for workday to weekend.

-- ShopNBC will introduce Hope Brick -- founder of RADARinsights and fashion industry veteran -- as trend expert for the shopping network. Ms. Brick will appear in style-focused segments throughout Beauty & Style Week that educate viewers about the latest trends while providing fashion advice that translates the hottest styles into any wardrobe. In addition to her on-air appearances, Ms. Brick's trend knowledge and insights will be available on ShopNBC.com on an ongoing basis.
