Sierra Monitor Corporation Signs Lease for Expansion to Adjacent Facility

New Space Allows for Anticipated Future Growth

MILPITAS, CA--(Marketwire - February 9, 2010) - Sierra Monitor Corporation (OTCBB: SRMC), a Cleantech focused company that designs, manufactures and sells electronic safety and environmental instrumentation, announced that it has signed a five year lease for an additional 12,600 square feet of light industrial space adjacent to its existing 16,000 square foot headquarters. Both facilities are leased from Geomax Development, San Jose. Sierra Monitor has occupied its headquarters building located at 1991 Tarob Court, Milpitas for the past 24 years. The added facility is located at 675 Trade Zone Blvd, Milpitas.

"By taking advantage of current attractive commercial property lease rates, we have obtained space that will allow us to expand our manufacturing and testing operations and will enable us to consolidate our inventory and materials handling," said Gordon R. It will also allow us to expand our customer training facilities."
