The Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) Announces New Officers and Board Members for the 2007 - 2008 Year

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - November 6, 2007) - The Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) today announced its Board of Directors for the 2007-2008 term. Its leadership team includes senior investor relations officers and communications consultants from the Northern California area -- each of whom commit to a one-year term of volunteer service once elected to the Board of Directors.

The Silicon Valley Chapter is one of the largest chapters of NIRI, comprising of more than 200 investor relations practitioners, corporate officers, consultants, and partners responsible for the advancement and discipline of investor relations practices within the local community.

Officers for the 2007-2008 term are Michelle Levine of JDSU who has been elected President; Tom Rathjen of Accuray who has been elected President-Elect; Lisa Chiorello of Juniper Networks who has been re-elected Treasurer; Hunter Landers of Creative Strategy Group, Inc. who has been re-elected as Vice President of Membership; Rebecca Cooper of Merrill Corporation who has been re-elected as Vice President of Board Affairs; Ken Bond of Verisign who has been re-elected as Vice President of Programs; Brian Walton of Marketwire who has been re-elected as Seminar Co-Chair; Peter Schuman of Intel Corporation who has been elected as Vice President of Professional Development; and Nicole Noutsios of NMN Advisors who has been re-elected Director at Large. In addition, the Silicon Valley Chapter has appointed four new members to their Board of Directors for the 2007- 2008 term:

--  Judy Davies of Verigy has been appointed Vice President of Marketing
    and Communications.
    
--  Victoria Hyde-Dunn of McAfee, Inc. has been appointed Co-Chair of
    Seminars.
    
--  Tricia Gugler of Electronic Arts and Scott Wylie of Altera Corporation
    have been appointed Co-Chairs of Programs.
