SixLog™ and Its Customers Combat Hunger in Africa

SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwire - June 24, 2010) -  SixLog Corporation, an Astro Pak company providing on-site biological decontamination and sterilization services, today announced that it is reaffirming its commitment to the students at Northrise University in Zambia, Africa through its "Deals for Meals" campaign.

Founded by Moffat and Doreen Zimba in 2004, Northrise University is the first nationally recognized private university in Zambia, empowering its students daily with the skills to succeed in the workplace while living Christ-centered lives. The Northrise philosophy is to transform the lives of its students, in turn, releasing the nation and other parts of Africa from the gripping effects of poverty.

SixLog invites its customers to help combat hunger by feeding Zambian students at Northrise University through its "Deals for Meals" campaign. For every project that SixLog completes for customers, it will give back to the Northrise community by feeding one student for an entire academic year.

"We are very grateful that SixLog has chosen to contribute to Northrise," says Dr. Moffat Zimba, Vice Chancellor and President of Northrise University. "Through each job that SixLog performs for their customers, they are in turn changing our students' lives. In Zambia, having two meals a day is seen as a luxury, and one meal a day is seen as surviving hunger. Since hunger is seen as a tremendous barrier to learning, by providing a meal a day for our students, they can continue to focus on their education, which will subsequently improve the economic health of Zambia. We appreciate the contribution to Northrise, as SixLog and its customers are truly changing the lives of our students."
