Skye Begins Trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 8, 2006) - Skye Resources Inc. ("Skye") (TSX VENTURE:SKR) today announced that its common shares have been approved for listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and will commence trading on May 09, 2006 under the symbol "SKR". As of the market close today, Skye will no longer trade on the TSX Venture Exchange.
