Sleep Holdings, Inc. Appoints James O'Brien, MD, FCCP, DABSM to Clinical Advisory Board

Dr. O'Brien Is a Nationally Prominent Expert on Sleep Disorders

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - December 10, 2007) - Sleep Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SLHJ), a leading provider of sleep diagnostics and sleep related therapy, announced the appointment of James O'Brien, MD, FCCP, DABSM to its Clinical Advisory Board. Dr. O'Brien is a well known leader in the sleep medicine field where he has served as consultant, international lecturer, medical director and section chief at various hospitals. His current roles include Medical Director of ProHealth Physicians Sleep Center, Supervising Physician at SleepMed, Inc., Medical Consultant at Tufts Health Plan and President of TalkAboutSleep Inc.

Dr. O'Brien has spent the last 20 years in the sleep disorder industry. His clinical interests include the early recognition and disability arising from untreated sleep disorders; untreated sleep disorders and their impact within a corporate environment; and increasing the awareness and optimizing the detection of treatments for sleep disorders through his internet website

Dr. O'Brien is involved in many professional organizations including, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Thoracic Society, and Fellow American College of Chest Physicians. His background and academic credentials consist of a Medical Degree from New York Medical College, fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine from Carney Hospital in Boston. He also received graduate training in Sleep Medicine from McLeans Sleep Disorder Center in Belmont, Massachusetts. Dr. O'Brien is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Sleep Medicine and currently holds a license in Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
