Small Canadian Firm, Real Programming 4 Kids, Adds New Locations in Calgary, Coquitlam, and Kitchener-Waterloo

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - May 15, 2006) - As of Saturday May 6th, 2006 Real Programming 4 Kids has been conducting "free trial classes" for Calgary kids & teens at The Third Academy in Calgary. During the weekend of May 6th and May 7th, 2006 Real Programming 4 Kids hosted 44 new students for free trial classes at their new Third Academy Calgary location.

Recently, in spring 2005 Real Programming 4 Kids also added Coquitlam, B.C. and Breslau, Ontario to their roster of game programming camp locations.

This summer, 2006, Real Programming 4 Kids will teach at least 500 students in 7 different Canadian cities.

Real Programming will be leasing computer labs from; Ashbury College (Ottawa), St. John's-Kilmarnock (Breslau near Kitchener/Waterloo), Third Academy (Calgary), Mediated Learning Academy (Coquitlam), Irwin-Consulting (Markham), St. Mildred's-Lightbourn (Oakville), and Branksome Hall (Toronto).

The program humbly originated in a Winnipeg apartment and in 1996 was already teaching kids how to program "pacman" games.

RP4K prides itself on its small class sizes of a maximum of 4 students per instructor. RP4K teaches real programming using the Visual Basic, Java and C++ programming languages.

Company president, Elliott Bay M.Sc. (Math), and PhD dropout, actually began a math tutoring service in Winnipeg in 1989 that slowly evolved into the present day Game Programming camps.

RP4K recruits its instructors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from the U of Ottawa, U of Waterloo, Guelph, UBC, Simon Fraser, York, McMaster, U of Toronto and the U of Calgary. With personalities of course!
