Solar Night Industries CEO Presenter at Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) Peer Exchange

SAINT LOUIS, MO--(Marketwire - January 4, 2008) - Solar Night Industries (PINKSHEETS: SLND), a renewable energy company formed to accelerate the adoption of Modern Energy Solutions, announced that Tim Corbet, CEO of the Company, was recently a participant and presenter at the Fall 2007 Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) Peer Exchange, held in Fairview Heights, Illinois.

The DCEO Peer Exchange is conducted twice a year to bring community representatives, past program participants, governmental components, the Association of Professional Energy Consultants, energy providers, and other energy conservation professionals together in an exchange of ideas and accomplishments. This event was attended by over 50 participants from throughout the state, including representatives from utilities and agencies such as The Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation and energy consultants. Topics included present and future energy programs including efficiency, financing and home energy performance.

Corbet spoke of the opportunity to accelerate the adoption of modern energy taking an integrated approach; using wind, solar thermal and solar photovoltaic solutions.
