Solera Networks CTO Joe Levy Addresses Network Forensics at ISSA Event

Industry Expert Discusses How Companies Can Prepare for Inevitable Cyber Attack

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - November 17, 2009) -

What:

Those who fail to plan, plan to fail. As recent security breaches at such high profile agencies and organizations as the White House, NSA and DHS have shown, security breaches occur despite the amount of preventative measures in place. In fact, a recent study of security professionals conducted by Solera Networks, a leading provider of network forensics products and services, and Trusted Strategies, a research and advisory firm focused exclusively on information security, showed that the industry views security breaches as an inevitability.

At the upcoming meeting of the Baltimore Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Joe Levy, a security expert and the CTO at Solera Networks, will be addressing members on how they can best prepare to respond to these breaches when they inevitably occur. His presentation is titled, "Toward Efficient Network Forensics."

As a recognized security industry expert, Joe will discuss how an integrated, active network forensics solution can help expedite response and save organizations time and money during the process of identifying the source and scope of a breach.
