Solutrea Corp. Announces the Resignation of Jim Skippen From Its Board of Directors

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Jan. 9, 2008) - Solutrea Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SLA) (the "Company") regretfully announces that Jim Skippen has left the board of directors of the company effective December 31st, 2007 for personal reasons.

"I believe Solutrea has great potential and will have a great future," said Skippen, "However, at this time I need to spend more time on other commitments and regrettably am forced to reduce my involvement in some obligations, such as Solutrea."

In other developments, management of the company has been diligently working on filing the continuing disclosure filings. Originally, the Company's shares were the subject of a cease trading order by the Alberta Securities Commission for failure to file its Q2 2007 financial statements. The Company has since filed the Q2 financial statements as well as the business acquisition report for its acquisition of Fatport Corporation. The Company is currently reviewing the Q3 2007 financial statements and should file them soon.
