Sony Ericsson Reveals Competitions Tab Success

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - June 18, 2010) - Sony Ericsson Facebook page members have been eager to take part in the regular competitions recently, judging by the overall entry figure of just under 30,000 since the beginning of April.

The Facebook page is currently a hive of competition activity, including a number of giveaways to fans of coveted, technologically pioneering handsets such as the Xperia™ X10. Using a Facebook tab, the Sony Ericsson team regularly submits competitions where members of the page can answer a simple question to be in with a chance of becoming one of the lucky winners of each competition.

The most popular competition to date, to win one of seven Xperia™ X10 handsets, received just under 10,000 entries. Winners of the prizes were selected at random, and announced as winners on the Sony Ericsson Facebook page.
