Sony Ericsson Reveals Third Break the Silence Film

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Aug. 26, 2010) - Sony Ericsson has revealed the third "Break the Silence" film through its tab on the official Sony Ericsson Facebook page.

The Break the Silence campaign was launched in May 2010 to promote the launch of the new VH110 and VH410 Bluetooth headsets, which became available in August 2010. To enter the contest, Facebook users could access the Break the Silence tab by "liking" the Sony Ericsson Facebook page. They could then submit their video, recorded through either their mobile phone or webcam.

In each entry, users were asked to state their name, where they were from and then describe what they like the sound of in a short video, which was then judged on the creativity of the video and the user's answer. Whichever country achieved the most entrants was chosen as the winner, and the best entrants from the selected country then had the chance to be in one of three final films, as well as win the new Bluetooth headsets and other Sony Ericsson extras.
