SJH is a nonprofit, integrated healthcare system, providing access to a continuum of health services for a service population of more than 375,000 residents throughout southern New Jersey. With its growing network of healthcare facilities and services, SJH had an increasing need to better archive and protect its mounting volumes of email data which were topping 4TB in storage capacity. The fast-paced provider needed to better ensure rapid data recovery in the event of data loss while assuring compliance to HIPAA regulations. It also required the ability to streamline eDiscovery and search processes along with an ability to eliminate the risk of data corruption that often comes with archiving email data in local system PST files.
