Specialized Design and Manufacture of Heat-Transfer Equipment by APEX Group, a Feature of "Industry Today" on Industrialinfo.com

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - January 7, 2008) - Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) will host APEX Group (Voorburg, The Netherlands) as its special guest on Industrialinfo.com Radio on Monday, January 7, 2008, as part of the weekly online broadcast of "Industry Today." APEX is a group of companies specializing in the design and manufacture of heat-transfer equipment utilizing APEX® and CORPEX® proprietary design. APEX offers a full range of expertise, including product development, basic and detailed design, fabrication, testing, delivery and after-sales service. CORPEX plate type, tubular and glass-coated heat exchangers are custom-designed units to meet specific application requirements.

APEX offers leading design and applications technology that ensures the trouble-free operation of the equipment supplied and of the system in which the equipment is integrated. APEX's specialists utilize advanced computational fluid dynamics simulation software to analyze the flow distribution in ducts and equipment for optimum performance of the entire installation. This simulation, which exceeds the boundaries of APEX equipment, will give customers and end users added confidence that the installation will operate at high standards of performance.

The proprietary design plate-type heat exchangers developed, fabricated and supplied by APEX Group are heavy-duty exchangers for handling large volumes of gases for heat recovery and gas-handling applications. APEX also offers a range of tubular exchangers of proprietary or conventional design used as heat-recovery units for a diversity of fired and non-fired installations. APEX develops, fabricates and supplies a range of proprietary plate-type and tubular heat exchangers coated with glass for handling highly corrosive fluids. The corrosion-resistant glass layers are applied on a metallic substrate (plate or tube) in order to impact mechanical strength to the heat transfer surfaces, and thereby preventing tube breakage during operation or during water washing.

Each of these product offerings are designed, fabricated and marketed to meet the highest performance requirements for most any heat recovery or environmental application.
