Spring Accounts Payable Conferences to Combine

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 30, 2007) - IOMA and RECAP are pleased to announce that IOMA's 5th Annual Advanced Payables Institute and RECAP's 12th Annual Enhancing Accounts Payable Operations conferences will be held in conjunction with one another March 3-5, 2008 at the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

"In the past, each of these events had a single track of sessions, creating a problem for practitioners who wanted to participate in sessions from each conference but could only attend one. By combining these two events, we offer participants a much broader selection of high-quality instruction, hands-on workshops, and significant networking opportunities," said Randy Cochran, VP and Publisher at IOMA. "We will have concurrent sessions and pre-conference workshops. Attendees will be able to pick those that best meet their needs and provide valuable insights to bring back and apply to their own organizations. There is increasing awareness of the new strategic roles and responsibilities of Accounts Payable professionals due to regulatory, governance, globalization and technologies. The conference will be the premier event of the Spring."

Jon Casher, Chairman of RECAP and President of Casher Associates, said, "We have worked closely with IOMA for years and realized that we could greatly benefit Accounts Payable practitioners and their colleagues in Procurement by providing more opportunities to learn from their peers, subject matter experts and suppliers of products and services used in accounts payable. We expect over 200 accounts payable professionals, controllers, CFOs, and Purchasing Managers to attend this event. Over 20 suppliers of products and services will be sponsoring and exhibiting."
