Star Navigation and Astrium Announce Technical Partnership Agreement

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 6, 2010) - Star Navigation ("Star" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SNA), is pleased to announce the signing of a Technical Partnership Agreement (TPA) with Astrium, a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS, to enhance and implement the patented In-flight Safety Monitoring System (ISMS™) – the next generation of aircraft data transmission systems that provides commercial aircraft operators with a capable, reliable, cost-effective solution to greatly enhance awareness of aircraft performance, status and location.

The Agreement has been forged to maximise the excellent and complementary capabilities that both teams provide, building a stronger product and infrastructure, to increase value to the operator and other industry stakeholders.

Star Navigation will supply airborne systems and installations, developed over ten years, which will provide customized and comprehensive independent data processing and intelligent monitoring facilities of the aircraft systems.

Astrium will supply satellite communication systems expertise, networking facilities, and will lead marketing and sales activities. Further enhancements will involve Astrium's data tracking research and development activities.

Viraf S. Kapadia, Star CEO stated: "We are very pleased with this technical partnership, as it provides an excellent path for Star and Astrium to enhance the overall ISMS™ system and implement a leading edge, global satellite and ground station infrastructure and supporting services."
