Start-up MRO Facility, myTechnic, Selects Maintenix® Software for Maintenance Management

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 23, 2007) - Mxi Technologies announced today that MRO Teknik Servis Sanayi Ticaret A.S. (myTechnic), a start-up Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Turkey, has selected the Maintenix® maintenance management software for implementation within their developing organization. The integrated, intelligent software solution will automate myTechnic maintenance operations, leading to optimum efficiency.

Recognizing the need to control costs through streamlined operations, myTechnic focused on best practices and "lean" principles when selecting a maintenance management software provider. The Maintenix system will provide myTechnic with Engineering, Heavy and Shop Maintenance, Materials Management, and Finance functionality. Advanced automation and real-time visibility will allow myTechnic to maximize their labor productivity, leading to fast turnaround times and efficiency in operational costs.

"Because myTechnic's major shareholders also hold stakes in ACT Airlines, they saw a need in the region for a third-party MRO that was customer-driven," said Daglar Cizmeci myTechnic's CFO and a member of its Board of Directors. "As the region's only lean and greenfield facility, we wanted a software system that complimented our business model of creating value through efficiency. The Maintenix software's rich functionality and state-of-the-art architecture provides myTechnic with an additional set of tools that will support us in bringing superior services at competitive prices to the region."

"The role of third party MRO providers is becoming increasingly prevalent in the market today and with their services designed around operational efficiency, myTechnic is positioning itself to become highly competitive within that market," said Les Hine, President of Mxi Technologies. "myTechnic saw that the Maintenix system was capable of supporting and growing with their business model and we are thrilled to be working together on this endeavor."
