Stay-Linked and CTG Partner to Deliver "Voice Enhanced" Terminal Emulation
Best-of-Breed Solutions Combine for Rapid Deployment of Voice Capability to Standard Telnet/SSHv2 Screens -- Eliminating the Need for a Front-End Application Server
TUSTIN, CA--(Marketwire - August 5, 2008) - Stay-Linked Corporation today announced a
September 30, 2008, release date for their validated speech-enabled
terminal emulation offering. The solution uses CTG's Montage Voice product
(powered by Vulcan Voice) in conjunction with Stay-Linked's innovative,
host-based, thin-client terminal emulation software. The combined products
allow customers to selectively phase-in the deployment of "Voice Enhanced"
screens within their host applications.
The voice-driven data input/output capability of the combined validated
solution has been demonstrated over the past several months to select
Stay-Linked VAR partners, ERP vendors and device manufacturers. Starting
with version 9.1, the Stay-Linked voice-enhancing Host APIs that provide
the dynamic integration with CTG's product will be included as a standard
feature of Stay-Linked's terminal emulation solution.
"Prior to Stay-Linked's integration of CTG's robust speech recognition into
standard Telnet and SSH streams, customers had limited options when
deciding to implement voice capabilities into their systems," says David
Griffith, President of Stay-Linked. "It usually required an expensive
front-end application that needed to be interfaced to the customer's ERP --
a stand-alone application that imposes its own set of business processes --
or some cobbled-together 'fat client' running on the remote device. Now
with the innovative combination of Stay-Linked and CTG's Montage Voice,
we've integrated the best-of-breed solutions for speech recognition and
terminal emulation so customers can speech-enable their existing host
screens -- as needed -- and avoid the hugely expensive and complex
implementation issues associated with previous offerings. This solution can
be phased-in quickly and inexpensively into existing business processes by
the customers' internal staff."
CTG's Montage Voice is the latest solution to become Stay-Linked
Validated™ -- others include Odyssey Software's Athena Mobile Device
Management software and Pragma Systems' Telnet and SSH server software --
as Stay-Linked continues its role as the leading innovator of next-
generation solutions providing reliable and secure remote access to host
business applications.

About Stay-Linked
Stay-Linked Corporation began developing The New Standard™ for managing
wireless terminal emulation sessions and devices in 2001. Built from the
ground up for the wireless world, Stay-Linked debuted in 2002 as the first
thin-client terminal emulation solution -- a marked deviation from existing
device-side technologies that evolved from the wired terminal model.
Utilizing the proprietary Client2Host™ architecture, Stay-Linked was the
first host-based thin-client terminal emulator; the first to provide true
software-only session persistence; the first to provide a GUI Administrator
console for emulation configuration and session control; and is still the
only emulator with Advanced Terminal Session Management (ATSM).
