Former Omnicom Executive to Play Dynamic Role in Driving Growth of Interactive Television Leader

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - June 21, 2010) -  BrightLine iTV Marketing Specialists (www.brightlineitv.com), the leading innovator of interactive television advertising, announced today that Steve Grubbs, an award-winning veteran of Omnicom media agencies and former North American CEO of PHD, will become a senior strategic advisor to the company. Grubbs will work closely with BrightLine's CEO Jacqueline Corbelli to help navigate the substantial number of opportunities that have emerged for BrightLine in the interactive television space, over the past 24 months.

The Grubbs announcement comes at a time when BrightLine is enjoying its second consecutive year of record growth. Demand from top TV advertisers is fueling the growth for more meaningful and measurable ad experiences that create a two-way dialogue between consumers and brands, thereby boosting ROI.

"We're honored and delighted to have someone of Steve's caliber and expertise on board," said Corbelli. "At this important juncture in the growth of both our company and the digital television advertising space overall, his industry leadership and insight will be invaluable as we chart our course for the future."

Grubbs has held several leadership positions within the Omnicom Media Group. Most recently he was CEO of Omnicom Media Group Entertainment & Sports. This unit created content, developed branded entertainment solutions, and offered entertainment and sports consultancy services for marketers. Prior to that, Grubbs served in leadership roles with Omnicom's two global media services companies, OMD and PHD. He was CEO of PHD North America from 2002-07. Prior to that he served a three-year stint as CEO of OMD USA. Before joining OMD USA, Steve was Director of National TV Buying and Program Development at BBDO New York, where he had worked for 22 years.

Grubbs is a four-time winner of Mediaweek's "Media All-Stars" Award and a winner of Advertising Age's "Media Mavens" Award. He is on the Board of Directors of both the International Radio and Television Society and the John A. Reisenbach Foundation.

"Interactive TV offers marketers creative, compelling and measurable new ways to connect with their customers" said Grubbs. "BrightLine iTV is the leading company in an industry poised for huge growth over the next several years. I'm thrilled to join Jacquie and the BrightLine team."
