StonePoint Signs Agreement with New Vine Logistics

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 15, 2006) - StonePoint Global Brands Inc. ("StonePoint" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SPG) announced that it has signed an exclusive Supplier/Importer Agreement with New Vine Logistics Inc., a company based in Napa, California. Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will partner to create a full service, direct-to-customer system for Canadian wineries seeking to access the American market. StonePoint's industry knowledge and branding experience combined with New Vine's world class fulfillment services provides the partnership with the opportunity to significantly impact the Canadian wine industry.

Selling wine to US customers has traditionally been very difficult for wineries in other countries. Local, state and federal taxation combined with the required three tier distribution system have created a myriad of reporting and logistical challenges and marginal returns for the wineries. StonePoint's system with New Vine Logistics involves proprietary fulfillment technology that enables fully compliant consumer-direct shipping in up to 28 states covering 80% of the US market. New Vine's fulfillment services will add significant value to StonePoint's suite of marketing services.

StonePoint will also expand its technology base to enable this system to offer opportunities to wineries around the world as well as governments seeking to streamline cumbersome wine import systems.
