Strengthening its international world leader position - Conporec short-listed on a large composting project in Australia

SOREL-TRACY, Nov. 14 - Mr. Jean Beaudoin, CEO of Conporec
Inc (TSX VENTURE:CNP) announced today that the company was officially short-listed
among a group of sixteen potential bidders to submit a formal proposal for the
construction and operation of a composting plant in Australia. Conporec will
submit its proposal with its local partners, WorleyParsons
( and an important world leader financial group.

The proposal by the consortium is based on Conporec's patented technology
and will have the capacity of treating up to 100,000 tons annually of mixed
solid-waste, producing a commercial value compost. It is a Build Own and
Operate (BOO) type project that would generate income over the next twenty
