StubHub Adds New NBA and NHL Partners

Portland Trail Blazers, Charlotte Bobcats and Phoenix Coyotes Ally With Secondary Ticket Leader

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 30, 2006 -- StubHub, the fans' ticket marketplace, has signed partnership agreements with three new professional sports franchises, bringing the total number of sports team partnerships to twenty-nine. The Charlotte Bobcats and Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA along with the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL have agreed to extended term sponsorship arrangements with StubHub.

StubHub will be recognized as the "Official Secondary Ticket Exchange" of the Charlotte Bobcats organization. With 2004-05 Rookie of the Year Emeka Okafor and top draft pick Adam Morrison in the mix, the Bobcats boast one of the youngest but most talented rosters in the NBA. The third-year franchise is sure to create an exciting experience for the basketball-crazed Charlotte community.

StubHub has also signed on with the Portland Trail Blazers to act as the team's "Preferred Secondary Ticket Marketplace." Fans in the Rose City are eagerly awaiting the Trail Blazers' return to their perennial playoff form. With an influx of talent, including Northwest native Brandon Roy, the team is not far from packing them into the Rose Garden once again.

"I am very pleased to introduce StubHub as the Preferred Secondary Ticket Provider of the Portland Trail Blazers," said Jack Bradley, VP, Corporate Sales and Service for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Both teams join the New Jersey Nets and Washington Wizards as StubHub NBA partners. The relationships will encourage fans of each team to buy or sell their tickets from a team-preferred partner. With season ticket holders occasionally unable to attend every single regular season game, posting unused tickets for sale via StubHub provides more fans an opportunity to sit in premium seats. The ticket holder meanwhile can recoup an otherwise lost investment. When tickets are purchased second hand, teams benefit by having another passionate fan in a seat supporting the team and patronizing stadium offerings.

In addition to the new NBA partnerships, StubHub has aligned with yet another NHL team becoming a "Proud Sponsor of the Phoenix Coyotes." As part of the new agreement StubHub will receive excellent brand exposure within the Arena, part of the new Westgate City Center complex. The under-development cutting-edge entertainment and residential complex sits adjacent to not only the Arena, but also the University of Phoenix Stadium, home to the Arizona Cardinals and college football's BCS national championship game and Fiesta Bowl. The Coyotes join the Washington Capitals as current StubHub NHL team partners.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with teams of such high caliber," said Jeff Fluhr, CEO of StubHub. "These relationships represent the continued recognition of StubHub by teams as a valuable partner. We are committed to delivering our industry best experience to their fan bases."

StubHub's personal touch customer service and FanProtect Guarantee will continue to play a key role in providing fans the safest and most convenient experience possible. Both elements differentiate StubHub from other secondary ticket options such as auction or bulletin board sites. The FanProtect Guarantee ensures that every customer, both buyers and sellers, will receive the service promised to them or their money back. Seven day a week customer service allows users to call in with any questions or issues they may have for immediate resolution.
