Students Can Now Receive College Credit for CPA Exam Review Courses

CPA Exam Candidates Who Need Extra College Credits to Meet Educational or Licensure Requirements Can Now Take CPA Exam Review Courses and Fill Units While Preparing at the Same Time

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - February 16, 2010) -   Roger CPA Review has announced a partnership agreement with Golden Gate University to offer the company's CPA exam review courses for college credit. CPA candidates often need extra electives to fulfill requirements for their bachelor's degree, or to meet the minimum number of units for CPA licensure. The Roger CPA Review full CPA review course will be split into two separate GGU courses. Each course is worth 3 semester units or 4.5 quarter units; students who choose to prepare for all four sections of the CPA exam can receive up to 6 total credits. Students can choose from Roger CPA Review's comprehensive CPA online course or the live format.

"Golden Gate University is very pleased to be partnering with Roger CPA to provide an ideal solution for our students -- and others around the country -- who can now enroll in expertly led CPA review courses and earn academic credit simultaneously," says Mary Canning, dean of Golden Gate University's School of Accounting and School of Taxation.

CPA Exam candidates from around the world can enroll through Golden Gate University's Open Enrollment. The alliance of these two education organizations will help CPAs-to-be fulfill two goals at once: fulfilling educational requirements and studying for the exam. Roger Philipp, CPA, instructor and CEO of Roger CPA Review, is enthusiastic about the partnership saying, "We're thrilled to offer accountants everywhere a cost effective and efficient option to study for the CPA exam while earning college credit. The program offers an exceptional opportunity for anyone looking to become a CPA. We are proud to be partnering with GGU."
