13th Annual Road, Rail and Community Safety Day will take place at Downsview Park in what was once a military supply depot. Now used for film and television production, the depot will be transformed into a giant safety village to teach hundreds of student's important road, rail and community safety messages that could save their lives.

Exciting activities planned for the day will include exploring emergency vehicles, pedestrian safety, participating in interactive safety sessions such as how to wear a helmet properly, how to maintain your bike, how to be safe in the water and on the playground. The event, organized by the Toronto Area Safety Coalition in partnership with Downsview Park, celebrates its 13th anniversary this year.
