Sun Celebrates 10th Year at NFL Super Bowl Providing Collectors Item Commemorative AM/FM Radios

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - January 25, 2008) - SUN Sports and Entertainment Inc., (PINKSHEETS: SSPE) announced today its wholly owned subsidiary, Sports Radio Event Network, Inc. (Sports Radio), 'scored' a 5,000 Unit Purchase Order from the National Football League (NFL) of its Commemorative AM/FM Radios for fans at the 2008 NFL Super Bowl.

This is the 10th year in a row that Sports Radio has received a Purchase Order from the NFL for the Super Bowl Collectors AM/FM Radios. These units allow fans to listen to live content coverage that originates from TV, cable, satellite, and radio programs. Sports Radio has provided its special Radios to more than 40 Professional and College Sporting events and for organizations such as the NFL, NBA, NHL, and NCAA.

SUN CEO CJ Comu, stated, "This is another solid step forward for Sports Radio and a great continuation of a working relationship with the NFL. As Sports Radio continues to expand its business the company will be adding key management and looking to secure more venues as it increase revenues for this wholly owned subsidiary. Future plans for Sports Radio include broadcasting live data feeds on a new type of radio receiver utilizing new Radio Frequency (RF) technologies enabling a feature enhanced event broadcasting service. Anticipated new features include a handheld digital billboard, sports trivia, player statistics, and other event driven live-data feeds.

Super Bowl XLII will be the 42nd annual edition of the Super Bowl. The game is scheduled to be played on February 3, 2008 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This will be the second time that the Phoenix, Arizona, metropolitan area will host a Super Bowl game; Super Bowl XXX in January 1996 was played in Tempe's Sun Devil Stadium, the official stadium of Arizona State University.

The Super Bowl has always been a major TV event. Last year, 93.2 million viewers tuned into the game, which aired on CBS, and marketers paid as much as $2.6 million for a 30-second television commercial spot. This year, Fox has gotten some marketers to pay as much as $2.7 million to $3 million per 30 seconds spots.

According to the entertainment publication Variety, the NFL developed a wish list for the halftime performers. Among those on the wish list of potential entertainers were Bruce Springsteen, Norah Jones and The Eagles, On August 16, The NFL and FOX confirmed that "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest will serve in that role for the pre-game and halftime shows. On Willie Nelson's official website it states that he will be performing for a pre-game tailgate party. This will be the second Super Bowl played in a retractable-roof stadium (designed by Peter Eisenman and HOK Sport).
