Suncor Energy named one of Alberta's Most Respected Corporations

Calgary, Alberta (May 11, 2006) — Suncor Energy Inc. was recently named to the 2006 list of "Alberta's Most Respected Corporations" by Alberta Venture magazine. The list singles out employers with leading business practices who have earned the respect of their peers.

The 50 organizations represent the top employers in each of Alberta's major industry sectors. Suncor was recognized in the "Culture of Innovation" and "Environmental Stewardship" categories.
