Suncor Energy's Sue Lee and Director Eira Thomas earn Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women honours

Toronto, Ontario (November 21, 2007) — Sue Lee, Suncor Energy Inc.'s senior vice president, human resources and communications, has been inducted into the new Hall of Fame for Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100.

Lee was named to Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 list four times previously by the Women's Executive Network (WXN), an organization dedicated to the advancement and recognition of executive-minded women in the workplace. In 2007, WXN created the new Hall of Fame Award to give lifetime recognition to women who have been named to the list multiple times.

Eira Thomas, a member of Suncor's Board of Directors since April 2006, was also named to the 2007 Top 100 list in the Trailblazers & Trendsetters category. Thomas is chief executive officer and president of Stornoway Diamond Corporation.
 
The awards program celebrates successful women from many walks of life. Hall of Fame and Top 100 award winners were announced today at a gala luncheon in Toronto.
