Sungil Telecom Presents the Industry-First Digital-to-Analog TV Converter Box to US Market

LITTLE FERRY, NJ--(Marketwire - October 10, 2007) - SUNGIL TELECOM announced today that their Digital-to-Analog(D2A) Converter Box will allow people to watch digital television on their analog TV sets. The US government has set February 17, 2009 as the official analog switch-off date in which all analog broadcasts nationwide will permanently be switched to digital broadcasts.

SUNGIL TELECOM was able to create a product that enables analog TV owners to keep their television sets and their hard earned cash. People no longer have to go out and spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on digital TVs, monthly cable or satellite fees, or even installation fees.

In order to make the transition even smoother, the U.S. government has issued what is called a "Digital-to-Analog Converter Box Coupon Program" which was designed to help consumers continue receiving free, over-the-air television when full-power television stations cease analog broadcasting after February 17, 2009. All U.S. households are eligible to apply for up to two $40.00 coupons towards the purchase of a Digital-to-Analog Converter Box starting January 2, 2008.

"If you're one of the 19 million households in America that enjoy receiving free over-the-air television, the D2A Converter Box is your best bet. One of the best things about the D2A Converter Box is that once you buy it, you don't have to pay for any monthly fees," says Harry Rhim, CEO of SYNET, US sales & marketing firm for this product. "If you want more digital channels, parental control functions, and a bunch of other features at a low one-time cost, this is for you." This product will be introduced for the first time at the IT Channel USA Conference, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Secaucus, NJ, on October 23-25, 2007 organized by SYNET and sponsored by the Korea IT Research Institute.
