Sunridge Gold Intercepts High-Grade Zinc at Adi Nefas Project

Update on 43-101 Resource Estimates

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 25, 2007) - Sunridge Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SGC) reports assay results from six diamond drill holes completed as part of the 2007 resource definition and expansion drill program at the Adi Nefas zinc-gold VMS Deposit, part of the Asmara Project in Eritrea. Drill hole NG-096-D has extended the high-grade zinc zone 70 metres deeper than previously intersected with the mineralized zone still open at depth (To view the plan map accompanying this press release please click on the following link: To view the cross-section accompanying this press release please click on the following link: All drilling required for an updated resource estimate at Adi Nefas has now been completed.

Drill holes NG-097, NG-098-D, and NG-099-D did not intersect significant mineralization, but they intersected hanging wall rocks suggesting that the dip of the (overturned) mineralized zone is flattening to the west.

There are currently four deposits outlined to date within Sunridge Gold's Asmara Project; Emba Derho, Debarwa, Adi Nefas and the Gupo Gold Deposit. Upgraded resource estimates for both Adi Nefas and Debarwa are scheduled for completion by mid-October. In addition, an initial independent resource estimate for Emba Derho as well as the results of initial metallurgical test work are scheduled for completion at the same time.
