Sunsail 384 Honored by SAIL: Best Boat 2010 in Cruising Multihull Category

CLEARWATER, FL--(Marketwire - December 3, 2009) - Sunsail Sailing Vacations, the company for sailors by sailors, is excited to announce that the all-new Sunsail 384 catamaran was awarded Best Boat 2010 by SAIL Magazine in the Cruising Multihulls category.

Described by SAIL as "one of the best executed sub-40-foot cruising catamarans," the Sunsail 384 delivers exceptional sailing performance with all of the comforts of home. Designed by multihull architects Morelli & Melvin in the Robertson & Caine factory, this yacht's finely-tuned steering system and centralized sail control system ensures simple, comfortable helming. The well-planned exterior has a large cockpit hardtop for shade and weather protection, while the powerboat-style stepped transom enables easier boarding. Vertical front windscreens offer panoramic visibility, maximize ventilation, and brighten the salon.

Inside, comfort is priority. The spacious four double cabin and two head layout give plenty of room for couples or families, plus an additional forepeak berth is ideal for children or extra storage. With generous headroom and substantial storage, there is greater space for onboard relaxation. "The Sunsail 384 is another example of our commitment to investing in our high quality charter fleet. By commissioning the best designers and builders, we've been able to produce a supremely comfortable and easy to sail catamaran that places sailing performance and customer comfort at the forefront," comments Lex Raas, Sunsail President and CEO.

Produced with environmental considerations in mind, this is the first yacht in Sunsail's charter fleet with solar panels, which have the ability to save an estimated 20% on engine hours and increase the lifespan of onboard batteries by up to five years!

Over 45 new catamarans are being delivered to Sunsail destinations in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean this winter and the Mediterranean next spring! The Sunsail 384 may be purchased through the Sunsail Yacht Partnership Program, with attractive guaranteed revenues, up to 12 weeks sailing time each year and no operating or maintenance costs, including dockage and insurance.
