Sunwin Stevia International Announces a Series of Symposiums and Educational Campaigns to Draw Attention to the Issues of Childhood Obesity and Diabetes

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 20, 2006 -- Sunwin Stevia International, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunwin International Neutraceuticals, Inc. (OTCBB: SUWN), a leader in the production and distribution of Chinese herbs, veterinary medicines and low calorie sweetener (Stevia) in China, today announced that it will conduct a series of symposiums during the coming year with highly recognized dieticians and members of the medical community to help form an awareness campaign on the dangers of the alarming levels of childhood obesity and diabetes.

The campaign will be designed to assist with providing information on various methods of reducing certain risk factors related to these issues, as well as to provide a call to action from parents to act now in providing their children with healthy living habits. The campaign will consist of print media in well-read targeted publications, as well as being participating sponsors to various organizations attempting to combat these alarming epidemics.

Steven Silbert, Executive Vice President of Sunwin Stevia International, stated, "For well over a year we have seen nightly prime time news segments on the issues of a growing epidemic in both adult and childhood obesity and diabetes. Most recently there have been numerous news segments stating that the generation of children growing up today may for the first time in history lead shorter life spans then their parents. Our population is being informed by the media that two of the essential methods of combating this alarming situation are diet and exercise. These are issues we can control."

Mr. Silbert continued, "What befuddles the medical community is the apparent apathy regarding these problems. Our company is committed to do all it can to create a call to action regarding the responsibility of taking charge of your family's health. While we feel our product 'Only Sweet' was designed to assist individuals in achieving their goals of a better lifestyle, this campaign is not designed to generate sales; it is born out of a sense of corporate reasonability and a commitment to educate consumers."

Mr. Silbert concluded, "For over a decade. our parent company Sunwin International Neutraceuticals, Inc. has been involved in the development of organic animal feed, the production of over 100 traditional Chinese Herbal medications, as well as being one of the largest producers in the world of Stevia, a 100 % all natural 0 calorie sweetener. The company has worked on numerous projects with highly regarded universities in China on the development of organic health related products."
