SupaSwap the first online shopping community for parents, kids and teens announced today it is launching a sports academy for the younger generation. SupaSwap has taken this step to support the younger generation in realizing their dreams. This is being achieved through targeted sponsorship.

The first project under the banner "SupaSwap Sport" is being launched in the UK by the sponsorship of two young motor car drivers in the Ginetta Junior MotorSport Championship. The Ginetta Junior Championship was introduced in 2003 for young racers aged 14-17 as a natural progression route from kart racing. The Championship supports the British Touring Car Championship placing it on the biggest stage possible in the UK. Large crowds in excess of 50,000 provide an electric atmosphere and live TV coverage on UK television with an additional highlights programme is part and parcel of the media support.

The drivers that SupaSwap will be supporting in the 2010 championship are a brother and sister team: Sarah and David Moore. Sarah won the championship in 2009 when she was 16 and was the first female champion in the history of the British Touring Car event. In 2009 she was nominated for the very prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards.

Sarah Moore was also awarded the British Club Driver of the Year award at the world renowned Autosport Awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London in December 2009. Sarah was in good company as Formula One World Champion Jenson Button, World Rally Championship driver Mikko Hirvonen and British Touring Car Champion Colin Turkington all received accolades at the event. This year her brother David will be racing against his sister Sarah with an eye on taking the championship from her, this will lead to a very competitive and interesting season.

Sarah's final ambition is to race in Formula One and SupaSwap through its Sports Academy will be backing her all the way as many believe she will be the first female able to achieve this and to be competitive.

A spokesperson for SupaSwap said: "The SupaSwap Sports Academy will be backing many youngsters in the future in all forms of sport and with our support many will be able to achieve greatness, there are a lot of talented youngsters out there, they just need the financial backing to achieve their goals".

SupaSwap's Head of Marketing added: "The SupaSwap Sports Academy will assist the Company in achieving a high profile for its brand not just in the UK but around the world, this will bring with it a giant leap in the number of visitors to supaswap.com immeasurably adding to the Company's revenue and by default we will be benefiting many of the younger generation who need support to accelerate their sports activities. It is a win, win situation for all involved. We believe with a passion that sport is an important part of a child's development both physically and mentally and it is our mission to promote this message".

SupaSwap is the first online shopping community for parents, kids and teens, somewhat like eBay but with a twist. Since its launch it has been overwhelmed by the support and attention that it has attracted. Deloitte Touche one of the world's most respected accountancy firms who assisted in the preparation of the SupaSwap Corporation's business model believes the Company will become a very attractive acquisition target for many of the big internet players as well as being a high profile stock market listing candidate.
