Clive Sykes, Founder and Director of Sykes Holiday Cottages, the UK's leading independent cottage rental agency, has appeared in Series 2 Episode 7 of the television show 'Country House Rescue'. The show aired on Channel 4 at 8pm on Thursday, 15th April, 2010.

The episode centres on Abbey Dore Court, a stately home in Herefordshire that has been a renovation project for Clare Sage and her family. Clare is the Granddaughter of Charis Ward who bought the house for Pounds Sterling 12,000 in 1967. Accompanied by Ruth Watson, the show's presenter, Clive provides Clare with expert advice on how to holiday-let the country house. Now fully restored, the property is available for self-catering holidays on the Sykes Cottages website (reference 3674).

"Since the show aired, we have seen an enormous surge in enquiries for Abbey Dore Court," Clive Sykes comments. "In addition, we have received a considerable number of holiday-let enquiries from owners of other stately homes. Sykes Cottages is experiencing a fantastic year with bookings up by over 40%. We're confident that we can replicate this success for Abbey Dore Court."
