Symantec Offers Webcast Highlighting Findings of the Tenth Internet Security Threat Report

Report Shows Increase in Attacks on Vulnerable End-User Systems

(NASDAQ: SYMC) today announced it will host a webcast presenting the findings of its tenth semiannual Internet Security Threat Report. The webcast, led by Dean Turner, executive editor of the report, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at 9 a.m. PDT to provide consumers and IT managers a comprehensive, up-to-date analysis of security risks affecting individuals and organizations around the world.
