Synodon Builds Second realSens™ Instrument

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - June 21, 2010) - Synodon Inc. ("Synodon") (TSX VENTURE:SYD), announces that it has completed the testing and commissioning of its second realSens™ detector assembly. The manufacturing of this second Unit was funded from the proceeds of the private placement that Synodon closed in October 2009.

Adrian Banica, Synodon CEO said, "We are very pleased with the performance of this new instrument which incorporates a number of advanced improvements based on the experience and feedback from the last year of field operations. For example, optical alignment is almost 10 times better than in the first instrument and the thermal stability of the system has also been improved. Both these factors have the ability to increase gas sensitivity".

The new instrument will be showcased at the upcoming Synodon Annual General Meeting in Toronto on June 29, 2010 and will enter field operations immediately thereafter.
