TC PipeLines, LP Announces Fourth Quarter Distribution and Schedules Earnings Teleconference and Webcast

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 19, 2007) - TC PipeLines, LP (the Partnership) (NASDAQ:TCLP) today announced the Board of Directors of TC PipeLines GP, Inc., its general partner, has declared the Partnership's fourth quarter 2006 distribution in the amount of US$0.60 per unit. This distribution is payable on February 14, 2007 to unitholders of record as of January 31, 2007.

The cash distribution is the 31st consecutive quarterly distribution paid by the Partnership and represents more than a four per cent increase over the distribution declared for the fourth quarter 2005.

The Partnership will release its fourth quarter 2006 financial results after markets close on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. Analysts, members of the public, the media and other interested parties are invited to participate in a teleconference and audio webcast on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 12 p.m. (Eastern). Mark Zimmerman, president of the general partner, will discuss the fourth quarter 2006 financial results and general developments and issues concerning the Partnership.
