THE CRIBS Reschedule US Tour

Sex Pistols Support Confirmed

BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - November 2, 2007) - UK punk trio THE CRIBS have been forced to postpone their upcoming American tour, which was scheduled to begin this month on the East Coast and end in Los Angeles in early December. Scheduling conflicts due to a flurry of activity and success of their new UK single at home have forced the dates to be moved to early 2008. Fans of the band on both sides of the Atlantic will have plenty of reasons to celebrate the return of THE CRIBS. In the meantime, THE CRIBS would like their domestic fans to know that a much more extensive American and Canadian tour is planned for next year and tickets previously purchased for dates will be honored for the new dates to be announced in the near future. Refunds will be provided at point of purchase for tickets for any shows that cannot be rescheduled. THE CRIBS apologize for any inconvenience but look forward to returning to the US in the New Year.

There is still lots of good news for THE CRIBS to be celebrated at the moment: A brand new double A side single has been released in the UK this week for "Our Bovine Public" (from the album "MEN'S NEEDS, WOMEN'S NEEDS, WHATEVER") backed with "Don't You Wanna Be Relevant?" and as expected, is heading straight into the charts. The video clip for "Our Bovine Public" is a high-energy live performance film reflective of life on the road with THE CRIBS and the intense relationship shared with the band and their audience overseas. Watch carefully and you'll spot Alex Kapranos from Franz Ferdinand and Ben Gibbard from Death Cab For Cutie. The latter track is a brand new recording and features an animated video clip.

In other CRIBS news, the Sex Pistols have reunited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album, "Never Mind The Bullocks," and will perform at London's Brixton Academy. THE CRIBS have been invited along as special guests for these shows set for November 8, 10, 12 and 14. All shows are sold out.

THE CRIBS look forward to their return to the US in 2008. Details will be confirmed shortly.
