(TSX:TIR), congratulates its partner, Lighting Services Inc (LSI) for winning the Best Product award in Downlights, Wallwashers, and Accent Lights, the most competitive category at Lightfair International 2006, the most prestigious lighting event in North America, which is held annually. LumeLEX™ beat out 33 other competitors to win.

The LumeLEX™ product is a track light fixture that incorporates TIR's lexel™ solid state lighting (SSL) technology as the light source to provide the high quality illumination with perfect control that is required by LSI's customers in the museums, galleries, and retail lighting market.
