TTC Media Advisory: See the Future of Toronto's Subway

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 5, 2006) - The media is invited to get a sneak preview of what Toronto's next fleet of subway cars might look like. A full-size Mock-Up will be officially unveiled for the media at noon today at Davisville Station.

TTC Vice Chair Adam Giambrone and Chief General Manager Rick Ducharme will officially cut the ribbon to launch the public display.

The Mock-Up will be on public display and Davisville Station from June 6th to June 20th, and at various other locations between June 21st and July 21st. Times and locations are available on the TTC website,

The TTC is holding a "Name the Train" Contest. Customers are invited to send in their train name suggestion for a chance to win one adult transferable Metropass for one year. Five runner-up prizes will consist of a transferable adult Metropass for one month, and five transferable adult Weekly Passes. Contest brochures are available on TTC vehicles.
