Tagish Lake Gold Corp.: The Yukon Government Appoints Project Coordinator

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 5, 2006) - Tagish Lake Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TLG) is pleased to announce that the Yukon Government has appointed Randy Clarkson, P.Eng. as project coordinator for the Skukum Creek gold-silver project, to assist the Company through the regulatory process in a timely manner. Mr. Clarkson's role will be to facilitate permitting for the Skukum Creek Project, with the objective of maximizing efficiency and timeliness. He, as a private consultant, is well-suited for this role, bringing 20 years of experience working in the Yukon on mining-related affairs to the project.
