TargetSpot to Deliver Personalized Audio Ads to Nobex Radio Companion on Blackberry Devices

Mobile, Real-Time, Geo-Targeted Ads Connect Advertisers Directly to Listeners

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - May 4, 2010) -  TargetSpot Inc., the nation's largest Internet and mobile radio advertising network, announced a partnership with Nobex Technologies Inc. to deliver personalized audio advertising with synchronized display to BlackBerry devices via the Nobex Radio Companion application. With this connection to TargetSpot, advertisers will be able to target listeners based on real-time, mobile, geographical data provided by the Nobex Radio Companion. Nobex reaches 1.9 million unique users on BlackBerry smartphones and serves up content from more than 5,200 radio stations from 80 countries.

"Our new mobile radio advertising network allows TargetSpot to offer advertisers a true cross-platform solution that can reach consumers wherever and whenever they are listening to streaming content," said Eyal Goldwerger, CEO of TargetSpot. "Digital advertisers can now craft campaigns that can follow their target audience from their desktop at work, to their mobile phone when they commute home or later run at the gym."

A key feature of this partnership allows advertisers to geographically target listeners based on real-time location data, localizing ad delivery and reaching listeners at the most appropriate time and location.

"Advertising supported audio and voice services are opening new frontiers for consumers, content publishers and advertisers alike," said Michael Becker, North American Managing Director for the Mobile Marketing Association. "Companies like TargetSpot and Nobex are unleashing new opportunities for content access and consumption, distribution and revenue models; not just for featured phones and smartphones, but for next generation mobile internet-enabled devices."

Nobex Radio Companion was the 2008 winner of the BlackBerry Cool 15, as well as the BlackBerry Partners Fund's "The People's Choice Award." Now in its second generation, the Nobex Radio Companion allows listeners to listen to more than 5,200 radio stations from around the world, that span multiple genres including Talk, Sports, News, Religious, and, of course, Music. Nobex delivers unique features that have become very popular with listeners, including: playlist information for more than 2,700 stations that displays what is currently playing on listener devices, what is coming up next, and what was previously played on a station. The service also provides song lyrics, which the listener can set to scroll alongside the song.

"Geographical targeting is another innovative and competitive differentiator for the Nobex Radio Companion," said Gadi Mazor, CEO of Nobex Technologies. "This completes the 'last mile' for advertisers who will now be able to reach their target customer when and where they are most likely to take advantage of the advertiser's offer."
