TechSolve Brings America's #1 Idea Guru's Innovation Engineering Leadership Institute to Columbus July 12-14

COLUMBUS, OH--(Marketwire - June 24, 2010) -  Doug Hall, "America's #1 Idea Guru," will lead the Innovation Engineering Leadership Institute program on July 12-14 in Columbus, OH. The workshop is for Ohio manufacturers and is being sponsored by the Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership Centers (TechSolve and MAGNET), The Ohio State University's Ohio Manufacturing Institute and Cleveland State University.

The Innovation Engineering Leadership Institute provides manufacturers the tools necessary to experience success and defy the recession. It is grounded in data-based analysis that utilizes multiple processes, ensuring a robust learning experience for participants. Past workshop attendees have utilized their findings to create top tier business plans -- leading to unprecedented success.

"In order for companies to successfully move past the recession, they need to focus beyond the day-to-day," explains Bruce Vaillancourt, director of the Manufacturing and Technology Small Business Development Center (MTSBDC) at TechSolve. "This program will give senior managers the confidence and fundamental tools to create, communicate and implement meaningful and unique ideas that will drive their companies forward."

"Doug Hall's engineering leadership seminar will change the way you think about the future potential of your business and yourself," said Greg Dufour, president and CEO of Camden National Bank.

Hall is the founder and CEO of Eureka! Ranch, a Cincinnati-based company that has worked with corporations such as Nike, Walt Disney and Procter & Gamble. The University of Maine, where Hall teaches undergraduate and graduate-level innovation engineering courses, is offering continuing education credits to participants who complete the three-day workshop.

The Innovation Engineering Leadership Institute program will be held on July 12-14 at the Crowne Plaza in Worthington, OH, outside of Columbus. For more information about the program, Doug Hall and event registration, visit www.innovationengineering.info/ohio.
