Telvista to Close Odessa Site in September

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - June 21, 2010) -  In response to changing market conditions, Telvista has made the strategic decision to relocate its Odessa contact center programs to other US centers between now and the end of September, 2010.

"It is with regret that we announce the closure of our Odessa, Texas facility. This is unfortunate news for Telvista and for the Odessa community but we want to thank the City of Odessa and our employees there for their support during our years in the Permian Basin," commented David Arellano, Telvista's Chief Operating Officer. 

Telvista will work with the Texas Workforce Commission to offer services including job placement assistance, resume preparation workshops and job training. The company has also arranged for counseling support for its employees during this transition.

Most employees who stay through the closure will be eligible for severance based on years of service. All employees are welcome to apply online for other positions within the company. Some team members may also be eligible for relocation assistance to our Dallas center.
