Telx Chooses Paul Hopkins as New VP of Sales, Western Region

Telx, one of the largest domestic interconnection and colocation data center operators, announced today that it has hired Paul Hopkins of Palo Alto, CA as its new Vice President of Sales, Western Region. Telx's Western Region operations have experienced strong growth as demand remains high and new opportunities mature in key industry verticals including High-Tech, Cloud Computing, Web 2.0 and Media and Entertainment. Hopkins will manage teams on the West Coast, Dallas and Chicago, bringing a wealth of colocation industry, key enterprise vertical and local market experience to the company.

Before joining the Telx team, Hopkins enjoyed success as the Vice President of Direct and Channel Sales, Western region at IPSoft, Inc., a leading, global remote infrastructure management company. He's also held sales positions at Exodus, Savvis, Cable & Wireless, PLC., and SBC.
