Teranetics Adds Sales and Operations Executives

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - December 16, 2009) - In anticipation of rapid growth in the 10GBASE-T silicon market, Teranetics, the leading provider of 10GBASE-T physical layer solutions enabling higher speed Ethernet over-copper, today announced that it has named Thomas G. Mailhot as senior director of worldwide sales and Jon P. Drake as vice president of operations.

Thomas Mailhot comes to Teranetics with more than 20 years of sales management experience with Silicon Valley semiconductor companies. Most recently, he was western regional director of MSD server sales and business development for Spansion. His previous experience includes sales management positions with SanDisk, IDT, Norcomp, and Samsung Semiconductor. He holds a BS in Economics from Santa Clara University.

Jon Drake has more than 16 years of experience in building supplier relationships and managing supply chains. He comes to Teranetics from LSI Corporation, where he was most recently senior director in the supply chain management organization. He previously held operations management positions with C-Cube Microsystems, ADAC Laboratories, Heraeus Lasersonics, and Solectron. He holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BS in Chemistry from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
