Terrys Fabrics Spots Spring Trends

STOKE, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Feb. 18, 2010) - Stoke based Terrys Fabrics the supplier of quality curtains, blinds and bedding is helping you to transform your home for less predicts that patterns will be big business news this Spring.

Instead of the usual palate of pale spring colours, customers at Terrys Fabrics have been selecting spotted, striped, floral and abstract prints in a bid to brighten up their homes. Patterned material for curtains and patterned ready made curtains are proving particularly popular with sales up by almost 25% year on year.

Terrys Fabrics has responded to this trend with the launch of almost 100 new fabrics in-store since Christmas.

Paul McGuinness, of Terrys Fabrics, said:

"The snowy and icy weather has really had a big impact on our customers. At this time of year, there is usually a demand for simple, pastel coloured materials as an antidote to the excesses of Christmas. This year however, we have a seen a huge increase in demand for pinks and greens in particular and all featuring a print pattern of some description.

"We have been working very closely with our suppliers to be able to respond quickly to this trend and have been able to introduce some fantastic new fabric designs in a range of materials from cottons through to PVC. Our new abstract florals are particularly impactful and we anticipate that these fabrics will create a real stir."
