Teuton's High Property is 1.25 km South of Silver Standard's New Bridge Gold Deposit

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 9, 2010) - Teuton Resources Corp. ("Teuton") (TSX VENTURE:TUO) (FRANKFURT:TFE) is pleased to announce that it intends to explore its High property in the 2010 field season, located in the Sulphurets region of northwestern British Columbia. The claims have recently become very prospective due to the 2009 discovery of the Bridge gold deposit by Silver Standard Resources on their Brucejack property (see map, attached).

The southern border of the Bridge deposit lies just 1.25 km north of the common boundary between Silver Standard's and Teuton's claims. Silver Standard's Bridge deposit, as well as the more historical Galena Hill Zone, the West zone, the Gossan Hill zone and the SG zone, all appear to be spatially related to the Brucejack Fault which is interpreted as continuing south into Teuton's property. Teuton controls 7km of the southern extension of this favourable trend.

Silver Standard drilled 16 holes into the Bridge deposit in 2009 for a total of 8,600m. According to a 2010, 43-101F1 compliant report prepared by P&E Mining Consultants on the Brucejack property (available on the Silver Standard website), the overall average grades for the Bridge zone are in the order of 1.0 g/t gold and 15g/t silver. Many of the holes intersected very long intersections and ended in mineralization. One of these, SU-21, intersected 589m of 0.99 g/t gold. Silver Standard's consultant is calling for a $10 million follow-up 2010 program for the Bridge as well as other zones on the Brucejack property.

Much of the High property is underlain by rugged topography interspersed with icefields and glaciers. Although exploration of this ground will be challenging, the Company intends to prospect and sample all zones of alteration found along the 7km trend. Promising showings could be drilled within the 2010 season.
