The BrainStorm Group is leading by example in the belief that an economic downturn is the best time to increase awareness and market share, with the unveiling of its new website and an audacious full page ad in the Globe and Mail that includes a $40,000 off coupon.

Launching May 29, to coincide with the ad, the BrainStorm website offers visitors a rich, interactive experience, which reflects The BrainStorm Group's capabilities, work and culture. The $40,000 offer is valid for new clients that contract to spend $250,000 or more in agency fees in a 12-month period. The ad directs readers to the website for additional information.

"Despite the fact that we are in the business of creating ads for a wide range of clients, very few agencies ever advertise. We wanted to change that pattern and clearly demonstrate the kind of creative thinking that gets noticed and drives interest and sales," stated Ron Telpner, Chairman and CEO.

"We also wanted to draw national attention to our capabilities, our clients, and the fact that this is not the time to be cutting spending on marketing, for companies that want to emerge from the recession, stronger and more profitable," said Bob Froese, President and COO.

"While economists are pessimistic about the recession, we want to own optimism. Our clients are gaining ground and grabbing market share. In fact, as our new positioning states, we are making our clients' dreams come true," Mr. Telpner said.

The self-promotion ad and the website were developed internally under the direction of Chief Creative Officer Dorothy McMillan, and Director Interactive, Jonathan Kirsten.

The BrainStorm Group, a full service advertising agency, currently works with leading recognized brands, including ADP (Canada, USA, UK, Australia),, Baxters Soup of Scotland, Daniels, The Dominion, epi Dubai, Jones New York, Kenneth Cole, New Roots Herbal, Old Dutch Foods, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Sunquest Vacations, U21Global University Singapore, Unity for Autism and others.

Established in 1992, The BrainStorm Group recently expanded, and moved into new, stand alone, offices at 191 Niagara Street, Toronto.
