SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 19, 2011) - Eventbrite announced today the release of the Eventbrite mobile app, a free iOS application that gets attendees to their events, and through check-in, more easily than ever before. For all of their upcoming events, attendees can use the application to access event details; share the event details with friends; and pull up the tickets they've ordered. The Eventbrite mobile app offers a map and directions to the event location; and it enables attendees to contact the event organizer with any last-minute questions with a single click. It's a simple, intuitive application that helps frequent event-goers manage their tickets and their scheduling details, while staying paperless. When a mobile ticket is pulled up on the app, it can easily be scanned by Eventbrite's Entry Manager mobile application (which is available on Android and iOS) for a quick check-in upon arrival.
This is Eventbrite's first-ever product built entirely for event attendees. It highlights the ticketing platform's continued and increasing focus on delivering ticket buyers a hassle-free and delightful experience: from event discovery, through the ticket purchase process, and now, during check-in at the event. CEO and Co-Founder Kevin Hartz explains, "We're excited to give attendees the chance to go green. With the Eventbrite mobile app, they can skip all the bits of paper that can accidentally be left at home and head to their event with just their cell phone in their pocket."
Because the application collects and lists all of the events you've been to, attendees will be able to review their buying history. Co-Founder and President Julia Hartz points out, "We're excited to show our ticket buyers that, though they may not have realized it, the events that they're going to -- irrespective of how varied they are -- are all on Eventbrite."
Eventbrite enables people all over the world to plan, promote, and sell out any event.
